A round table on the occasion of the Day of Tolerance was held in Shabla

On November 17, the day after the International Day for Tolerance, a round table on the topic was held in Shabla. About 30 parents of children, students and municipal officials were present.

Zhanna Vasileva – expert in intercultural education, shared her views on tolerance and showed the presentation prepared for the occasion. Valeri Lekov – campaign expert and lecturer in his short talk spoke about the established rules and norms of behavior and their observance, respect for the personality of each person, kindness, gratitude, tolerance and humanity. That tolerance is a two-way process and we must treat others the way we want them to treat us.

In the ensuing discussion, the participants shared frankly about situations in which they found themselves and showed tolerant attitude or intolerance.
