Amalipe Center with 3rd place in the competition “Causes in focus”

The winners of the “Causes in Focus” amateur video contest are already clear. The aim of the competition was to encourage civil society organizations, informal groups or individuals to use the power of the short video to talk about their cause – who it matters to, what it changes – and to appeal to supporters, volunteers and donors.

The organizers of the competition are the Forty-Two Foundation, the Information Portal for NGOs in Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Center for Non-Profit Law.

By the deadline for participation – November 30, 2020 – 30 short videos were received, and 25 of them met the eligibility criteria.

“We thank from the bottom of our hearts the participants in the competition, because in all the videos there was a lot of energy, heart and human dedication to different causes. We were impressed by the participation of so many young people who stand behind various public benefit initiatives. From personal experience I can say that the short video is one of the fastest ways in which we, civil society organizations, can introduce people to the good things we do, to attract more supporters, volunteers and donors, “said Alexander Kumanov executive director of Foundation 42, member of the jury.

Amalipe Center participates with a video dedicated to the campaign “Old devices for a new beginning” and its participation in the special edition of CHANGE. We are extremely happy that the jury of the competition evaluated our video and awarded us the honorable 3rd place. Here is the video we participated in:
