Center “Amalipe” among the four organizations that won funding in the Digital Activism and Small Grants Program competition

Center “Amalipe” among the organizations that won the competition for funding projects of TechSoup, in partnership with Funky Citizen, aimed at countering misinformation. The program is implemented in Bulgaria by the Coalition for Media Literacy.

Center “Amalipe” was given the opportunity to implement its project “Stories from the Community”, which aims to combat the spread of fake news among the Roma community and to debunk myths about it that exist in the public space. Ethnotolerance will develop a media literacy model for students and, together with the Romanian organisation Forum Apulum and the Moldovan Î. P. Development. Education and Support, will participate in the implementation of a regional project – “Minorities as an object of disinformation during the elections for members of the European Parliament”. Safe Playgrounds Association, in partnership with VAMO production company, will put into practice their idea for the project “Young Urban Myth Busters”.
