First Approved Students to Receive Support from the ‘I Want to Study’ Fund Are Now Clear

In 2022, the Amalipe Center launched the “I Want to Study” Fund to assist students on the verge of higher education or those already enrolled but facing challenges to continue their studies due to reasons beyond their control. Through this campaign, the goal is to help current students or university-bound mature students cover their semester fees, dormitory fees, educational materials, or other expenses related to their higher education. In the summer of 2023, we announced the first application round, where young people had to submit various documents and meet specific conditions. After a detailed review of their application forms and discussions among the board of experts, decisions were made.

It is important to note that the fundraising campaign is ongoing, and with sufficient funds collected, a new application deadline for students will be announced. To support the Fund, see more here.

The Amalipe Center is pleased to announce the names of the students selected to receive scholarships as part of the “I Want to Study” Fund for the academic year 2023/2024.

The Amalipe Center directs this initiative not only to the Roma community but to all young people who meet the conditions and express a desire to learn, believing that every child who wants to study should have the opportunity to do so.

The Amalipe Center is delighted to support these young people and provide them with the opportunity to pursue their educational goals and dreams. With the hope that they will be an inspiration to many other young people, we wish them a successful and fruitful education.
