🌍 Our vision and mission
Center Amalipe believes in the equal integration of the Roma community and works for its modernization and empowerment. Our mission is to ensure equal access to quality education and better healthcare, as well as to encourage the active participation of Roma in society.
🚸 Fighting violence against children
One of our key priorities is the prevention of violence against children, including early marriages and ethnically motivated school aggression. We believe that if all institutions – schools, social services, prosecutor’s office, police – act systematically and purposefully in every identified case of violence, we can build a more educated, healthier and more fulfilling society.
👨👩👧👦 The role of the community
The participation of parents, educational mediators and Roma leaders is key, because change starts from within. Only through joint efforts can we cope with these serious challenges.
With this project, we will not only help the affected regions, but also show how a deep-rooted problem can be overcome throughout the country.
The project “Marriage can wait, education can’t” is implemented within the framework of the INSPIRE project: Improving National Support for Prevention, Intervention, Response, and Empowerment of Victims of Violence against Children” and is co-funded by the European Union and the Foundation “Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation” (WCIF).
