Amalipe Presents the SASTIPE Platform to 40 Mediators at the National Meeting in Sunny Beach
On 11 September, Amalipe Centre presented the SASTIPE mental health platform to 40 mediators as part of the National Meeting of Mediators in Sunny Beach. The presentation formed part of the project’s efforts to promote its resources among people who work directly with families and local communities every day.
Including this topic in the national meeting highlighted the connection between mediators’ work and mental health support. Such gatherings provide an opportunity to introduce project resources to practitioners who can use and share them within their communities. For Amalipe, this is an important step towards making the materials developed through the project a useful tool in mediators’ everyday work.
The SASTIPE platform has been designed as a space for learning, accessing materials and exchanging knowledge. It aims to support mediators in their work and strengthen their cooperation with mental health professionals. The platform also creates opportunities for continued learning and sharing experiences beyond face-to-face meetings and training sessions.
Of the participants attending the presentation, 38 expressed an interest in registering on the platform. The next step is to clarify
the practical registration and access procedures with the project partners and provide interested mediators with guidance on using the materials.
Mediators play an important role in building trust, challenging prejudice and bringing accessible information to communities. Access to appropriate resources can support their everyday work and help them guide people towards professional assistance.
