Our shared feedback for 2023: Happy Holidays from Center Amalipe team

We believe that Bulgaria in 2023 experienced not only challenges, but also a lot of successes. Certainly for Center Amalipe, 2023 was full with both, many challenges and many successes. Together with the “Every Student Will Be a Winner” network of schools, we continued to cope with the damage that Covid-19 has caused to Bulgarian education and the inclusion of all children by our educational system. At the same time we made efforts to ensure that the new in education reaches even the smallest rural school, as well as to ensure that the smallest rural school has the opportunity to participate in the creation of the New. We saw once again that the potential of young people has no limits: students from small settlements, from schools with a concentration of vulnerable groups, schools that try to deal with the problems of segregation and give opportunities to their students: in the past year they held dozens of peer trainings, organized campaigns and youth debates to show what behavior they expected from politicians and what demands they had of them; they showed that young people were not apathetic, but searching, wanting and changing. We continued the fight for educational mediators together with the Network of Educational Mediators and managed to achieve sustainability in funding, although we still have a lot of steps to climb. In short, it has been an interesting year for us. How it looks in a few numbers (although they can hardly convey all the emotions we tried to hint at above), see here:

THANK YOU to all of you who tripped over the rocks with us, peeked around every next turn and shared the successes and disappointments! Because that’s what builds true FRIENDSHIPS!

In the New Year 2024, we wish you above all health! May it be filled with more successes and fewer challenges, with sharing, sincerity and warmth!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
