“Christmas Mail of Dreams” inspired students and teachers at Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen
On November 24, the “Christmas Miracles of Bulgaria” campaign opened the box of the Amalipe Center and the “I Want to Learn” Fund with two initiatives: at 59 Sofia University “Vasil Levski”, Sofia and at the Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen. The Amalipe Center joined the national “Christmas Miracles of Bulgaria” campaign with an exciting initiative dedicated to the power of dreams and support for young people – “Christmas Mail of Dreams”. Believing that the greatest Christmas miracle we can create together is to give every child a chance for education, the team and volunteers of the Center focused attention on one of the most meaningful causes during the holiday season – education as a path to a better life.
Dozens of letters with dreams, hope and inspiration
The “Christmas Mailbox of Dreams” was located in the 2nd building of the Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen. The initiative was organized by scholarship holders of the “I Want to Learn” Fund and the regional coordinator Silvia Stancheva, who prepared a colorful and welcoming stand that attracted the attention of students and teachers.
Visitors had the opportunity to write a letter to an unknown student from a small town or a vulnerable community – a letter filled with support, advice, motivation and kind words. Dozens of pages were filled with messages that will soon reach young people in need of encouragement and faith in their own abilities.
The initiative also included a reciprocal gesture: students received an “inspirational letter” from a young person from the Roma community or another vulnerable group – a message that would make them look at education through someone else’s eyes and feel the power of mutual support.
“The Tree of Knowledge” – Messages to the Future
Part of the post office was also the symbolic “Tree of Knowledge,” where students and faculty hung their personal messages about education, dreams, and kindness. This tree became a kind of Christmas installation that gathered the hopes and aspirations of young people – a reminder that knowledge is the root of every successful future.
A Christmas miracle that gives a chance
The collected letters will be sent to students from communities where motivation for education is often threatened by difficulties and lack of support. The messages have one main goal – to show that every dream is possible when you believe in yourself and when someone believes in you.
Today’s initiative once again reminded us that:
- education has immense power
- support changes human destinies
- every written message can be a spark of hope for a child
With smiles, kind words and sincere wishes, the “Christmas Mail of Dreams” showed that miracles are not just a symbol of the holidays – they are part of the human kindness that we carry within ourselves. Every letter, every message and every smile today reminded us once again that the power of education is great, that it is extremely important to support young people and build a Bulgaria in which every dream has a chance to come true.
