Meeting between Center Amalipe and the Ambassador of India in Bulgaria H.E. Arun Sahu

On 21st March the team of Amalipe Center welcomed H.E. Mr. Arun Sahu, Ambassador of India in Bulgaria. The main focus of the meeting was the work of Center Amalipe and the long-standing partnership between the organization and the Indian Embassy. During the meeting key social issues were discussed, including the reasons for dropping out of school and the efforts of Amalipe Center to motivate students and their parents for education. Special attention was also paid to the prevention of early marriages and the need for active measures against hate speech and discrimination. The Embassy of India in Bulgaria traditionally supports the activities of Amalipe Center and annually hosts groups of students on the occasion of Vasilitsa – Roma New Year, as well as the initiative “Ambassador for a Day”. This partnership contributes to promoting cultural dialogue and supporting young people in their education and personal development. The meeting ended with an invitation to H.E. Mr. Arun Sahu to be an official guest of this year’s Open Heart Festival, one of the most significant events organized by Amalipe Center, which brings together students from all over the country to present their talents, culture and traditions. This meeting once again confirmed the importance of cooperation between Amalipe and the Embassy of India in support of education, tolerance and social integration.
