They are involved in distributing teaching materials to children in the neighborhoods, visiting children and monitoring their online learning.

Educational mediators, activists and field workers provide full assistance to the Bulgarian Red Cross in distributing food to people’s homes. For this purpose, they established a connection with the regional structures of the Bulgarian Red Cross, as well as assistance for all other measures aimed at prevention of the infection and compliance with the conditions of the state of emergency. The same was done by the colleagues from the Integra Association and the municipalities from the RomAct program.
We are convinced that together we will succeed! We believe that this is the only prospect for every Bulgarian citizen to ensure a dignified existence for his family and to benefit the whole society.
We are grateful to the Food Operational Program for the cooperative attitude and the inclusion of a third target group not covered in principle by the program! At the same time, bureaucratic requirements for organizations to provide personal identification numbers to citizens have made it impossible to receive food packages from many families in dire need. It is not logical for mediators and civil society activists to collect personal data, as this can easily be done by the ASA governing body. We call on the Food Operational Program to make a new delivery to eliminate this bureaucratic requirement.
