The “I want to learn” fund for supporting students is open for applications!

During the past academic year, the Amalipe Center managed to support 7 students in meeting their higher education expenses, thanks to the “I want to learn” fund. Some of them are already established professionals, all successfully completed their academic year, and continue to develop.

Aiming to be helpful and to continue the initiative, we announce that the Program is once again open for applications from students/prospective students. In addition to the donations collected so far, for the next academic year, the official partner of the “I want to learn” Fund is the Prosveta Publishing House, which will support 5 more students studying pedagogical specialties.

The goal of the “I want to learn” fund is to support young people from vulnerable groups who are on the threshold of higher education and have the desire and motivation to continue studying but lack the opportunity due to circumstances beyond their control. With the collected funds, these young people will be assisted with an amount of up to 1500 BGN, which can cover university fees, partially cover accommodation costs, or provide other necessary tools and materials for their studies.

The campaign is aimed at all young people who meet the criteria and is not limited only to those from the Roma community. Because every child who wants to learn should have this chance!

A report on the scholarships paid out is published annually in the Amalipe Center annual report and on the Amalipe Center

Fellows undertake to participate in events organized by the Amalipe Center, to help as mentors or to get involved in other volunteer activities of the organization.
