The next approved students who will receive support from the “I Want to Study” Fund for the academic year 2024/2025 are clear.
Education is a right, not a privilege! In 2022, the “Amalipe” Center started a Fund to support young people who are on the verge of higher education or are already students but, due to circumstances beyond their control, cannot continue their studies. The campaign aims to help these young people cover their semester fees, accommodation expenses, study materials, and other costs related to higher education.
In the summer of 2024, a second round of applications was announced, where candidates submitted the necessary documents and met the established criteria. It was of great importance to include them in volunteer activities or civic engagement, as we believe this is crucial for their development and for building a democratic society in Bulgaria.
This year, “Prosveta” Publishing House joined as an official partner of the Amalipe Center and the “I Want to Study” Fund, which we deeply appreciate. Thanks to their support, 5 students who will receive pedagogical qualifications at the end of their education will have the opportunity to meet their expenses more comfortably today.
After careful review of the applications, the board of experts made its decision.
! It is important to note that the fundraising campaign continues. If additional funds are raised by the end of the first semester, the remaining students on the reserve list will be supported sequentially.

They will receive financial support of 1,500 BGN for the academic year 2024/2025 (paid in two installments), which will be used to cover university fees, partial rent, or other expenses related to their studies.
In addition, the students receiving scholarships commit to participate in events organized by the Amalipe Center, as well as to contribute to the organization’s activities as mentors or volunteers.
The Amalipe Center is proud to support these young people and provide them with the chance to continue their education. We believe they will be an inspiration to many other young people, and we wish them success and fruitful studies.
! The approved young people should expect more information at the emails they used to apply in the coming days.
Center “Amalipe” is a non-governmental organization that for more than 22 years has supported schools across the country in reducing dropout rates, dealing with early marriages, reaching tens of thousands of Roma parents, and increasing their motivation for education. As an independent civic organization, Center Amalipe manages to address important systemic issues that are beyond the capacity of individual participants, such as support for small (rural) schools, the introduction of the position of educational mediators, and more.
