The educational mediator Irena Mihailova held a meeting to inform Roma women about domestic violence
Educational mediator Irena Mihailova held a meeting with women in connection with violence against women on April 1, 2022. The meeting was held at the Center for Community Development in Strazhitsa, which was also attended by parents. Attendees were aware of what measures women can take to protect themselves in cases of domestic violence.
The meeting is a result of the trainings of educational mediators organized in March, whose participant was Irena Mihailova. With the event, she continues the mission of the Amalipe Center and the PATTERN project, which aims to inform and educate women from the Roma community on how to recognize, prevent and stop domestic violence.
