Project Goal:
To promote mental health and improve access to high-quality mental health services for the Roma community in Bulgaria, Romania, and Greece.
Specific Objectives:
- Collect and provide data on mental health challenges faced by the Roma community to better inform decision-makers and healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement best practices for promoting mental health and preventing mental health issues.
- Enhance the knowledge and skills of Roma educational, health and other mediators and experts, working with Roma community to identify and address mental health challenges in their communities.
- Strengthen cooperation between Roma educational, health and other mediators and experts, working with Roma community and healthcare professionals working in community centers and psychiatric services.
What Will We Achieve?
Through collaboration between Roma educational, health and other mediators and experts, working with Roma community and mental health professionals, we aim to effectively identify the needs of the Roma community, reduce stigma, and improve the quality of life of individuals in need of support.
