“The Euro Without Myths: Voices from the Community” is a project aimed at increasing awareness and trust in the process of introducing the euro in Bulgaria among Roma communities and other vulnerable groups. The main activities include organizing local information meetings and discussions, trainings for young people and community leaders, development and dissemination of accessible information materials, as well as cooperation with local mediators and activists. The project applies interactive and participatory methods such as facilitated group discussions, non-formal education, experiential learning, storytelling, case-based work, and the use of visual and easy-to-understand materials. It is based on a community-oriented approach that encourages dialogue, critical thinking, and active participation, empowering community members to express their own voices in the process of information sharing and decision-making. Through public events and a communication campaign, the project counters myths and disinformation about the euro and promotes informed civic engagement.
